In 2012, the State of Ohio privatized the state's economic development efforts and created JobsOhio. The organization was charged with executing a targeted, proactive sales and marketing strategy to position Ohio for aggressive competition for business investment and expansion opportunities through its network of six regional organizations. In the Dayton Region, the Davtion Development Coalition is the state's regional representative.

The Piqua City Government is a dynamic organization, some 188 full-time employees strong. We take great pride in the services that this organization is able to offer to the citizens of Piqua. Our citizens are our customers, and they are very important to us. Citizens should always be treated fairly, respectfully, and courteously.
