PHS welcomes new teacher

PIQUA — Every year the Piqua High School welcomes new teachers to their staff. This year we welcome Jami Mullen. Mullen previously worked for three years at Cambridge High School in Cambridge. Mrs. Mullen got her teaching degree from Muskingum University in New Concord.

Mullen teaches the Block Algebra 1, but she enjoys teaching all varieties of math. Being a teacher was Mullen’s first choice, when choosing her career. She said, “Every day is different, I love helping kids. As a teacher my job never has a boring day.”

When asked what her hobbies were Mullen responded, that in her spare time she enjoys being active. “I love being outdoors in general,” Mullen responded. She enjoys such activities as kayaking, hiking, etc. Mullen also loves playing and being with her three dogs.
