New Schools in Piqua

Monday, November 06, 2017

New schools with high-technology, air conditioning, and comfortable classrooms are being built in Piqua City Schools. This $55 million project is upgrading basic things like fire alarms and sprinkler systems along with placing wi-fi in the schools and giving students Chromebooks. Now, they can be trained on how to use computers and implement them on a daily basis, something that is critical for gaining the skills necessary to work in today’s high-tech world.

Our community supports this major school rebuild and renovation project, having voted for it as a sign of the area's overall commitment to our students and families. This is one more reason to consider moving your family to Piqua. You can view a video about the new schools on the district’s website.
