Sherman returning to chamber presidency

PIQUA — Kathy Sherman, a former president of the Piqua Area Chamber of Commerce, will be returning to the role this month, and she is excited to be taking the reins once again.

When asked how she felt about being named the next president of the chamber, Sherman said she was “thrilled … beyond words.”

Sherman was previously the president for three and half years before leaving in November 2014. Sherman, who currently works at Unity National Bank as a mortgage originator and officer administrator, will be taking over for the current president, R. Scott Miller, who is retiring this month.
