Visit Fort Piqua Plaza

There is a lot of history in Piqua and the Fort Piqua Hotel is what often drew visitors to our area. Even presidents stayed in this 1891 hotel and marveled at its’ beauty. Like many historic buildings, it slowly fell into disrepair and became vacant. As a community, we decided to do something about this and have undergone a massive campaign to renovate and restore this important piece of history.

Now, the Fort Piqua Hotel is home to the Piqua Public Library, something made possible through grants, tax credits, and private donations. It is also home to a stunning ballroom that is used for weddings and important events, along with a pub for locals to enjoy. The results are stunning and we invite you to stop by.
