Scott Steel Expands in Piqua

Scott Steel, LLC, a low-carbon steel service center headquartered in Piqua, is expanding into a second building in the city.

“We look forward to adding machinery and equipment to increase our capacity, which will lead to increased employment, over the next three years,” said John Scott, co-owner of Scott Steel.

Piqua Men of Steel, LLC recently completed the purchase of the property at 915 S. Downing St. for $300,000.

“We have found the city of Piqua and the community at-large to be very supportive of Scott Steel’s rapid growth,” co-owner Aaron Scott said. He also recognized other local groups for their support of Scott Steel. “In working with Grow Piqua Now, the Piqua Public Power Company, and the Dayton Development Coalition, we felt confident in making this investment to move the company forward,” he said.
