PIQUA AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE RELEASES 2011-2012 PIQUA QUALITY OF LIFE GUIDE

PIQUA - JANUARY 21, 2011 -- The Piqua Area Chamber of Commerce released its 2011-2012 Piqua Quality of Life Guide at its Annual Meeting.  The book was produced in partnership with Grow Piqua Now.

The Guide is an excellent source of information about Piqua and provides a great overview of the quality of life attributes and businesses that make the community special.  The new piece includes information about the community's history, educational institutions, its industries, economic development, the arts and culture, and the area's parks and recreational opportunities.

Lisa Whitaker, President of the Chamber of Commerice, explains, "The Piqua Quality of Life Guide gives is a great publication to share with our residents, businesses and visitors."  Adding, "It also provides us another marketing tool in our efforts to attract new businesses and residents to our community."

According to Bill Murphy, Executive Director of Grow Piqua Now (GPN), the publication will also serve GPN in its business attraction efforts.  "This partnership with the Piqua Area Chamber of Commerce has allowed us to produce a high-quality book that helps us tell our story to prospective companies exploring Piqua as a place to invest and do business.  The Guide will be an integral part of our marketing program over the next two years."

Copies of the 2011-2012 Piqua Quality of Life Guide are available at Piqua area businesses and hotels as well as the City of Piquq Municipal Government Complex and the Piqua Area Chamber of Commerce.
