BUSINESS CONFIDENCE INDEX

The GPN Business Confidence Index (BCI) is provided to GPN investors on a quarterly basis as one measure to monitor and track the health of the local economy. The quarterly BCI is tabulated and reported at meetings of the Grow Piqua Now Board of Directors and to local media.

The survey consists of seven (7) questions. Questions one (1) through three (3) are designed to capture perceptions of the economy at the national, regional and local levels. Questions four (4) and five (5) are focused on capital investment and employment projections for our investor company's local facility. Questions six (6) and seven (7) are projections for changes in sales and profits over the next quarter for these same GPN investors.

The BCI is a weighted score utilizing a scale of -100 to +100, with negative numbers indicating declining or lower confidence and positive numbers indicating growing or higher confidence in the economy.

The Fall 2010 BCI was -13 and appeared to reflect the continued uncertainty in the national, regional and local economies.
